Assisted Butterfly Stretch

ASSISTED BUTTERFLY STRETCH

The assisted butterfly stretch is a stretch used to improve the flexibility of your inner thigh and groin. It is a modification of the basic Butterfly Stretch. Start by sitting on the floor with the target leg externally rotated. Elevate the foot with a yoga block and place a kettlebell on the inside surface of your knee. Begin to lean your torso forwards while supporting your upper body with your forearms on your thighs. Hold a light stretch for 20-30 seconds.

    • Adductor Longus

    • Adductor Magnus

    • Adductor Brevis

    • Pectineus

    • Gracilis
