Isometric Biceps Curl
ISOMETRIC BICEPS CURLS
This is an isometric contraction exercise for the elbow flexors. You may use a dumbbell, kettlebell, cable pulley, or strength band for this exercise. If using a band, start by standing on one end of the band. Bend the elbow to 90 degrees flexion and hold for up to 7 seconds. Be sure to keep the elbow directly below the shoulder, and shoulder blade retracted and depressed.
