Scapular Pulldown

SCAPULAR PULLDOWN

The scapular pulldown is a scapular depression exercise. This exercise can be completed with exercise bands or with a cable pulley machine. Begin your set up by placing the cable pulleys at the top most setting of the machine and use a straight bar. Start in a dead hang position by grabbing the bar with an overhand grip that is wider than shoulder distance apart. Keep the elbows straight and pull down the bar by lowering the shoulder blades. Hold for up to 5 seconds before slowly lowering the weight.
