Banded Hip March

BANDED HIP MARCH

This is a strengthening exercise for the hip flexors. Start by looping one end of a pullup assist band around your ankle and loop the other end around a stable object behind you. While facing away from the anchor point, raise the knee up to 90 degrees hip flexion. Keep the core braced to maintain a neutral spine. Hold the hip flexion for up to 2 seconds before returning to start position.

      • Iliacus

    • Rectus Femoris
