Biased Eccentric Calf Raises

BIASED ECCENTRIC CALF RAISES

This exercise is a regressed version of the SINGLE LEG CALF RAISE and advanced version of the conventional CALF RAISE. On a stair step or exercise stepper, raise both heels up as high as possible. Increase the load of a single leg by leaning your body weight onto that foot and then slowly lower the heels as far as possible without lifting the toes up.

  • Soleus

  • Achilles Tendon
