The Beginning.
Throughout my high school and university career, I had the privilege of working in numerous positions which developed a strong passion for human movement and the joy it provides. As a dancer, I have competed locally and internationally and participated in several initiatives teaching youth the importance of self-expression and channeling energy into a positive outlet. Within the City of Toronto’s Adapted Recreation Division, I supervised, planned, and implemented recreation programs for individuals with special needs and advocated for inclusion of participants in mainstream programs for 7 years. Through these initiatives, I developed a strong sense of the importance of the body’s movement and the joy and meaning it can provide to people in artistic, recreational, and daily endeavours. Channeling this passion for the things the body can do, I sought to understand the body on a deeper level and find ways to help people further develop their passions.

The Journey.
After achieving my Specialized Honours, Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and Health Sciences at York University, I spent 2 years shadowing various clinics and learning from multiple healthcare providers in the various disciplines and discovered chiropractic. The knowledge, skills, and patient-centred approach to healthcare appealed strongly to me. With the goal in sight and passion in mind, I completed my doctorate Summa Cum Laude (with highest distinction) in chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.

The Mission.
I have treated patients ranging from accomplished competitive athletes to individuals suffering from complex health conditions including osteoarthritis, on-going cancers, auto-immune disorders, and diabetes. Though my treatments, I strive to educate patients on their health and provide them the tools and confidence to take their health into their own hands through the use of movement-based and manual therapies.
