How it started.
The beginning.
I have always had an interest in personal health and healthcare since I was a child. It all started after a bad tobogganing accident which led to a broken collar bone. After receiving quality treatment and care, the thought of helping others as I was helped had never left my mind. Growing up, I was slowly introduced into the fitness and health industry, which kept me active and healthy through the years. After completing my Honours Bachelors of Science degree at McMaster University, it became clear to me what I needed to do, I had to become a chiropractor... this decision was made after spending time shadowing different types of health care providers, interviewing friends and family, and understanding the philosophy of different professions.
The journey.
Through my own journey, I have realized that my passion in life lies within empowering others to live the life as they intended & this is reflected through my practice style. My purpose is to learn about your needs & goals, and to find a path that we can take together to acquire them. I aim to provide the best chiropractic services I can offer to my patients and the community.
I was fortunate enough to be able to continue my education at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where I spent another 4 years learning about anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, and etc, while honing my diagnostic and manual therapy skills. I had completed my Doctor of Chiropractic degree with Cum Laude (honours), while also completing additional continued education in Functional Integrated Acupuncture, Integrated Patterning, Athletic Movement Assessment and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization.
