Hello my name is Jasmine Ko and I am a physiotherapist
Who is Jasmine?
-
The Beginning.
Born energetic but not athletic, I was driven to perform at any cost. This combo rewarded me with a multitude of injuries, including RED-S for a year. No one likes being sidelined, whether that be from the game, work, or enjoying vacation with family and friends. I didn't let that discourage me, and I took the injuries as challenges, to learn and train smarter, so I could go harder.

The Learning.
With my passion for sports and fitness, I pursued my Master of Physical Therapy at Western University and Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology at McMaster. I developed my leadership skills as Head Dryland Coach for the Dragonboat Team at McMaster, teamwork with varsity Ultimate Frisbee, and a tough skin with competitive intramural basketball. Learning more in school lead to me learning more about mastering one’s body, sport, and self. While I used all those opportunities to become a student, an athlete, and a professional, I am excited for the continual learning and refining of my capabilities in each of those roles.

The Mission.
The human body’s ability to overcome trauma and complications will forever astound and inspire. My goal is to understand your story, help you recognize your body’s potential, and to help you regain control of your health. My evidenced-based approach will involve a combination of manual therapy, movement optimization, exercise, and education to help you reach your goals. I work to not only remedy your condition, but to encourage habits for lifelong growth and success. I’m excited to guide you into your better self, in the way that works best for you.
Special Interests
If I’m not running, lifting, or playing a sport of some sort, you can find me adventuring out in the city, finding new recipes and shows, or spending time with my kitten Tofu.
