Banded Lateral Raise

BANDED LATERAL RAISE

This is a shoulder abduction strengthening exercise. Start with your arms in the scapular plane (arms about 30 degrees in front of your body). Step on the inside of a pullup assist band and hold it with both hands in a thumbs up grip (mid pronation). Raise both hands to approximately shoulder height. Use as little momentum as possible while performing this exercise.
