COUNTERTOP LUMBAR DISTRACTION
The countertop lumbar distraction is an exercise used to alleviate and decompress the lumbar discs. Start by placing both hands on a stable countertop in your home. With full palm support. Begin to use your arms to gently lift your torso up while relaxing your legs. Softly bend your knees and allow gravity to pull your lower body down. Gently wiggle your pelvis while holding this position to relax muscles of the lumbar spine.
