Lumbar Nudging

LUMBAR NUDGING

This is an acute low back pain exercise to help reduce muscle spasms. Lay on your back and bring your knees and feet together. Slowly twist to the side as far as you comfortably can and take 3-5 deep breathes. Alternate to the other side and progress by increasing the range of motion only if it is pain free.

  • Quadratus Lumborum

  • Obliques

  • Erector Spinae

  • Lumbar Facet Joints

  • Sacroiliac Joint
