SCAPULAR ROWS

This exercise focuses on scapular retraction in isolation from shoulder extension and elbow flexion. This is done to uncouple or dissociate motion at the scapulothoracic joint. Anchor a band down in front of you at roughly chest height and hold it with your arms straight out in front of your. Squeeze together your shoulder blades to activate scapular retraction.
