Slant Board Inversion Dorsiflexion

SLANT BOARD INVERSION DORSIFLEXION

The slant board inversion dorsiflexion exercise is used to combine ankle inversion with dorsiflexion for improved range of motion. Start by placing your foot on a slant board so that the outer edge of your foot is on the floor and the inner edge is relatively elevated on the slant board. Lean forwards leading with your knee until you can go past your toes and hold this position for up to 2 minutes. You may scour your ankle side to side to find a restricted but pain free range of motion and push into this direction.
