Foot Bridge Toe Touches

FOOT BRIDGE TOE TOUCHES

This is a foot strengthening exercise that targets the intrinsic foot muscles. Elevate both the balls of your toes and your heel off the floor using weight plates or rolled up towels and engage your arch by doing a short foot contraction. From here, balance on one leg and proceed to bend over to touch your toes, the bending is used to destabilize your position. By stabilizing your body during this movement your foot muscles will engage to hold your leg stable.
