Thoracic Cat Camel
THORACIC CAT CAMEL
The thoracic cat camel exercise is used to mobilize the joints of the upper and mid back. Start by going on your hands and knees on a padded surface. Keep your knees hip distance apart and hands shoulder distance apart. Begin to flex your upper and mid back by slouching the shoulders forwards and allowing the spine to raise up towards the ceiling. Complete this while looking down with your head. Once at your end range, begin to extend the upper back by pulling the chest forwards and looking up with your head. Once at the end range you may go back into flexion to start the next repetition.
