Isometric Shoulder Internal Rotation

SHOULDER ISOMETRIC INTERNAL ROTATION

This is an isometric contraction for the shoulder internal rotators completed at 0 degrees abduction. Stand in a doorway and place your hand against the wall. Keep the hand in line with the elbow and shoulder. Press inwards with your hand with maximum tolerable effort and hold for 5-7 seconds. Slowly release the muscle contraction and relax for 5-7 seconds before repeating.
