Closed Chain External Rotations

CLOSED CHAIN EXTERNAL ROTATIONS

This exercise is used to strengthen the external rotators of the shoulder. Fold a towel up and place it between your body and your arm to stabilize your elbow. Anchor a strength band to a stable object and pull it to apply tension. Rotate your body relative to your body to contract your external rotators in a closed chain system.

  • Teres Minor

  • Infraspinatus

  • Posterior Deltoids
