Empty Can Raise

EMPTY CAN RAISE
The empty can raise exercise is used to strengthen the shoulder abductors. Start by standing on one end of an exercise band and grip the other end. Rotate the arm into internal rotation (thumbs down position) and raise your arm up into abduction. Raise the band up until your hand is just about forehead height. Lower the arm to complete a repetition.
